Tomahawk Conference Scholastic Bowl winners announced
Maggie Doherty of Mt. Pulaski in the top five

 

[March 04, 2024]    Local teens were granted awards at the recent culmination of the Tomahawk Conference season for scholastic bowl.

Throughout the season, Athens, Delavan, Greenview, Hartsburg-Emden, Illini Bluffs, Illini Central, Midwest Central, and Mt Pulaski played each other three times each.

The school with the best record in the conference wins the conference title, and the top five individual scorers overall are named to the All-Conference Team.

This year, the winning school, with a conference record of 16-5 is Illini Bluffs.

The students named to the All-Conference team are: Maggie Doherty from Mt. Pulaski, Josh Bauer from Illini Bluffs, Lane Smith from Athens, Damien Steinkruger from Greenview, and Megan Dare from Delavan.
