Hartem Stags win 8th grade Class 1A Regional Championship

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Hartsburg-Emden Stags on their Class 1A Regional Championship!

The Hartem Stags defeated West Lincoln Broadwell 25-19 and 26-24 to claim the regional championship in Greenview on Wednesday night.

Kylee Eads led the Stags with 6 kills.

Ava Eeten of Hartem and Annily Eimer of WLB each received the IESA Sportsmanship Award.

The Stags (14-5) will take on Washington St. Patrick (18-4) Monday, March 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. for the sectional championship.

Hartsburg is the host for the sectional tournament.
