Logan/
Mason County Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) is sponsoring
“Generation Found,” a FREE family- friendly movie event.
All members of the community are welcome! There will be two showings
of the movie; March 16, 2024, at the VIP Lincoln Grand in Lincoln,
IL at 2pm and March 23, 2024, at the Arlee Theatre in Mason City, IL
at 1pm. Community vendors and agencies will be onsite and providing
a wide variety of valuable resources and education.
About the film, Generation Found, is an independent film documentary
that takes an intimate look at how one community in Texas started a
recovery revolution. Dealing with the addiction epidemic and facing
the challenges of losing young people to death and the justice
system, Houston’s community champions joined together to build one
of the largest peer-driven youth and family recovery communities.
This documentary shares their journey of how a system was built to
intervene early and provide real and tested long-term alternatives
to the “War on Drugs.” This event will offer real-world utility for
communities battling addiction.
