Henry Joseph Van Bogaert II, 67, of Lincoln, passed away February 22, 2024, at home with his loving family.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Burial and services will be on Monday March 18th at 11:00am in the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.

Henry was born November 29,1956, in Chicago, IL., the son of Henry Joseph Van Bogaert and Patricia (Whalen). He married Annette Devine on August 13, 1977.

He was self-employed in the field of computer technology. Henry enjoyed amateur radio and auto racing, both Nascar and Indy car. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include his wife Annette, son Henry Joseph Van Bogaert III (Candace), and grandchildren: Charlotte Van Bogaert, Henry Joseph Van Bogaert IV, and step grandchildren Noah Company and Alyssa Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter Marie.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Residential Hospice.
