The Lady Railers soccer team went 3-0 this weekend, winning the East Peoria Tournament.

Lincoln defeated Limestone 1-0 on Friday night with Brooklyn Curry scoring the goal.

On Saturday morning Lincoln defeated Galesburg 1-0 with Curry again scoring the goal.

On Saturday afternoon Lincoln defeated Macomb 2-0 in the championship game. Curry and Jessa Werner each scored goals for Lincoln.

Ella Hartman got three shutouts in the goal for Lincoln. Hartman was starting for the first time in two years due to an injury to Marin Luckhart. Hartman is amazing, said assistant coach Donnie Bowman.

The Lady Railers defense, led by Jenna Bowman, Arianna Morris and Makinley Knapp, is amazing too, said Coach Bowman.

Brooklyn Curry, Jenna Bowman, Arianna Morris and Ella Hartman were named to the all-tournament team.

The Lady Railers record is 3-1 this season.

Lincoln’s only loss was to Sacred Heart-Griffin last Tuesday night by a score of 5-0.

The Lady Railers will host Southeast tonight at 4:30 p.m.
