Obituary
Lorene Dickerson, 96, of Lincoln,
formerly of Brimfield, died on Saturday, March 9,
2024, at Lincoln Villages in Lincoln.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial will be
in the Union Station Cemetery, Emden, Illinois.
Alma Lorene Vef was born on March 16, 1927, at her
family home in rural Union, the daughter of Charles
H. and Matie F. Simpson Vef. She was united in
marriage to Robert L. Dickerson on May 18, 1946. He
preceded her in death on April 16, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson,
Joshua Baird.

Lorene graduated from Lincoln
Community High School. She was employed at Sunny
Acres Farms and for City of Brimfield as the water /
sewer secretary.
Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
