Classical Harp and Flute Duo to perform at Mt. Pulaski Courthouse State Historic Site

The Mt. Pulaski Courthouse Foundation in co-operation with Scroggin Opera House Productions is proud to announce an upcoming performance by Flutist Amanda Pond and Harpist Julia Kay Jamieson at the Mt. Pulaski Courthouse State Historic Courthouse.

The hour-long program will showcase the amazing talents of two central Illinois Artists whose careers include performances with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra.

The program will include works by contemporary area composers that explore the idiomatic capabilities of the instruments and highlight the artist's exceptional talents.

The event will be Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Mt. Pulaski
Courthouse State Historic Site for this imaginative and entertaining concert.

The program is free and open to the public and we invite you to meet and chat with the artists following the program.

Light refreshments will be provided.

The Mt. Pulaski Courthouse Foundation offers throughout the year, various diverse programs to educate and culturally enhance the life of our community.
