[March 13, 2024]  MT. PULASKI - Carlene M. Hagenbuch, 93, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care in Lincoln.

Visitation:  4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 15th, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.

Obituary

Carlene M. Hagenbuch, 93, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care in Lincoln.

Carlene was born on March 19th, 1930, in Canton, the daughter of Ernest B. and Verna Lucille (Fairburn) Lingenfelter. She married Walter Edward Hagenbuch, Jr. on August 14th, 1949, in Mt. Pulaski. Walter preceded her in death on April 29, 2012.

Carlene is survived by her three children: Edward (Rebecca) Hagenbuch, Jan (Gary) Hannam, and Randy (Michelle) Hagenbuch; her grandchildren: Brad (Tara), Ethan (Dawn), Leah (Bob), Kris (Sarah), Mitchell, and Matthew; great grandchildren: Payton, Taylor, Rowan, William, Abigail, and Spencer. She is also survived by her brother: Clifford (Norma) Lingenfelter.

Carlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother: Bobby Lingenfelter,, and her two sisters: Beulah Stanley and Charlotte Lighthall.

Carlene was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mt. Pulaski, and also a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed hummingbirds, crocheting, sewing, caring for her garden and flowers at home, and loved her dogs.

A visitation for Carlene will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 15th, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.

Memorial donations may be made in Carlene’s memory to the Mt. Pulaski American Legion Auxiliary.
