[March 21, 2024]  MT PULASKI - Larry R. Gerardot, 77, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Service:  11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski

Obituary

Larry R. Gerardot, 77, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Larry was born on March 11, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of Roger and Jocile (Click) Gerardot. He married Marilyn Henrichsmeyer on November 10, 1968, in Mt. Pulaski.

Larry is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his children, Michelle (Robb) May, Carol (Travis Motley) Gerardot, and Anthony (Jema) Gerardot; his grandchildren, Morgan, Riley, Nicholas, Kyler, and Kade; his siblings, Karen Gerardot and Mark (Julia) Gerardot.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cheryl.

Larry proudly served his country in the US AirForce during the Vietnam War. He retired from Eaton in 2009 after many years. He enjoyed bowling, collecting coins, models trains, and vinyl records; he was also an avid Indiana Hoosiers fan. Larry was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski. Most of all, Larry loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

A service for Larry will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Pulaski. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski with full military honors.

Memorial donations may be made in Larry’s name to Zion Lutheran Church or Zion Lutheran School in Mt. Pulaski.

Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski.
