The
week of March 25 – 30, the Library will have a STEM area set up with
LEGOs, circuit sets, Ozobots, the foam dinosaur puzzle, a new
library scavenger hunt, and more.
Don’t forget to drop off your PEEP Diorama by March 30 at the Annex
Circulation Desk. This contest is for all ages. Dioramas should be
18” wide and 12” deep with no height limit. Your PEEP diorama theme
must be appropriate for public viewing and the library has
discretion to deem what is appropriate. Winners will be announced
April 8th.
Starting April 1 you will be able to pick up your Solar Eclipse
glasses at the library. The library will also have Eclipse
make-and-take bags, for K-5th graders, with activities to prepare
for the April 8th Solar Eclipse. Solar Eclipse glasses and
make-and-take bags are available as long as supplies last.
Don’t forget story time
every Wednesday morning at 10:00AM and 11:00AM through April 24. We
sing, craft, and listen to stories. We also offer a mommy and baby
group on the second and fourth Friday at 10:00AM through May. Don’t
miss the fun.
Be sure to mark your calendar for Summer Reading Program
registration. Registration begins on May 20th. This year’s theme is
READ, RENEW, REPEAT. We have lots of fantastic activities planned
for this summer, starting with a Foam Cannon on June 6.
