Carroll Catholic School’s Queen of Hearts Raffle jackpot is nearing $200,000! As a progressive raffle, the jackpot will continue to build until the queen of hearts is revealed.

The Queen of Hearts Raffle consists of a board with a standard poker deck and two jokers arranged randomly face down. The cards are numbered 1 to 54. When a player’s ticket is drawn, the card number on the ticket is revealed. If it’s the queen of hearts, the player wins sixty percent of the jackpot (if the jackpot is $200K, that’s $120K to the winner), while the school retains forty percent. All other cards in the deck offer cash payouts of $50 to $200. Plus Mr. Welch has announced those prizes will be tripled! If the queen of hearts remains hidden, the game continues, and the jackpot rolls over to the next drawing. Tickets must be purchased weekly and only cost $1.00 each.

The Queen of Hearts Raffle is held virtually. The winning ticket will be drawn at 3:30 pm on Fridays at the school and will be livestreamed on the school’s Facebook page. To get ready for each drawing, ticket sales will stop at 3:15 on Fridays. Be sure to check the CCS Facebook page for updated jackpot amounts during the week, as well as a list of the revealed card numbers.

Please note this week drawing will be Friday, May 3rd at 11:00am. Tickets sales will end at 10:30am.

Tickets will be sold throughout the week, both through the school and online. Tickets may be purchased with cash or check from Mrs. Craig in the school office (Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm) or tickets may also be purchased online using a credit/debit card, Venmo, or Paypal by visiting https://givebutter.com/QH23-24, and staff will fill out the tickets purchased. Online purchasers will be prompted to choose a playing card number to be printed on the tickets. Also, during checkout, purchasers will be given the option to cover the transaction processing fees on behalf of the school – this is not required but will certainly be appreciated.
