In April, students
from Illini Central High School and Lincoln Community High School
took a field trip to Sun Ag in rural Emden. While there they learned
about the use of drone technology in Agriculture.
The day included a presentation on the flying machines and their
adaptability to the needs of the farming industry.
Later, the classes took a walk outside where they were given a live
demonstration of the drone, flying over a field and disbursing
water.
The event was hosted by Sun Ag’s two certified drone pilots.
