[May 14, 2024]   The Railsplitters used three pitchers to shut out the Williamsville Bullets 1-0 on Monday afternoon at Mike Curry Field.

Michael Lucas had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh inning for Lincoln.

Lincoln’s seventh inning began with a walk to Karson Komnick. Wes Tedrick then bunted the courtesy runner, Austin Lucas, to second. After an intentional walk to Colbie Glenn, Michael Lucas singled to right, driving home his younger brother, Austin Lucas, with the game-winner. How’s that for an exciting finish?!

Colbie Glenn got the win for Lincoln. He worked two and one-third innings, striking out three batters.

Brenden Wurth pitched two and one-third innings, allowing one hit and one walk.

Parker Graue also worked two and one-third innings, allowing three hits and one walk. He struck out one batter.

Lincoln improved to 21-8 on the season.

Lincoln is riding a five-game winning streak. They will play at Chatham Glenwood today at 4:30 p.m.
