LCHS Foundation announces 2024 Scholarship recipients

[May 10, 2024]    The Lincoln Community High School Foundation has been created to enrich lifelong learning programs and provide educational opportunities for LCHS students.

The Foundation provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for community educational programs not available through tax revenues. The Foundation is a non-profit, independent organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are business and professional members of the community with a commitment to education.
The Lincoln Community High School Foundation Board of Directors has reviewed this year’s applicants and has made their scholarship selections from the Senior Class of 2024.

Winners are:

The Arthur and Luella Gimbel Scholarship ($5,000) will be awarded to Porter Schwantz.

The LeRoy Allison Memorial Scholarship ($3,000) will be awarded to Jenna Bowman.

The Jason Jones Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Taryn Stoltzenburg.

The LCHS Career & Technical Education Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Joseph Dahmm, Jackson Geriets, and Brynley Laubenstein.

The Debra L. Bree Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Kloe Froebe and Dylan Gowin

The Vincent Beggs Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Abigail Arnold, Alyssa Bishop, Kylie Boyer, Lacy Buss, Joseph Dahmm, Kloe Froebe, Tori Geriets, Dylan Gowin, Becca Heitzig, Elaina Jones, Brynley Laubenstein, Clayten Manley, Isabella McFadden, Tamari Pressoir, Addison Rawlins, Trey Schilling, Porter Schwantz, Wesley Tedrick, Marie Van, and Oliviah Wilkerson.

The Lincoln Community High School Foundation Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Allyson Battin, Jenna Bowman, Isabella Bree-Elmore, Kani Carson, Mercedes Friend, Jackson Geriets, Aidan Gowin, Angel Haro, Jackson Morgan, Luke Jones, Michael Lucas, Lillian Manuel, Mattea McFadden, Arianna Morris, Owen Roemer, Peyton Schwantz, Taryn Stoltzenburg, Alison Turner, Kyle Warfel, and Brenden Wurth.

The James B. Maxwell Educational Memorial Scholarship ($500) will be awarded to Alison Turner.
