Mount Pulaski suffered a couple losses last
week.
On Thursday the team lost 10-5 to El Paso-Gridley.
Highlights were few and far between but Chance Payne, Eric
Cooper, Tyler Cross and Colt Selinger did have hits for Mount
Pulaski.
Selinger had two hits, in fact, and Cross had the lone RBI for
the Hilltoppers.
On Friday Delavan beat the Hilltoppers 12-0. The Panthers put up
seven runs in the first inning and just continued to bury Mount
Pulaski.
Franklin Wade, Landon Smith, Luke Martin and Carter Clark had
the only hits for Mount Pulaski.
Saturday’s game was forfeited by Illini Central.
