- Dorothy Ann Knollenberg, 91, of Lincoln, passed
away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at her home.

A private family burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in
Lincoln will take place at a later date.

Obituary
Dorothy Ann Knollenberg, 91, of
Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at
her home.
Dorothy was born July 25, 1932, in Lincoln, the
daughter of John and Ann Louise (Kodatt) Starcevic.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Dwayne (Maggie)
Knollenberg and Daniel (Audrey) Knollenberg; a
daughter, Dee Ann Knollenberg; seven grandchildren,
Dustin, David, Douglas, Brandon, and Nicholas
Knollenberg, Erica Tomkinson, and Lori Shevlin; six
great-grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Jean
Collum.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son,
Dennis Knollenberg; and sister, Sharon Hodnett.
Dorothy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950.
She worked at LDC for 27 years as a dietician.
Dorothy was a member of Holy Family Church and a
lifetime member of the Oasis
Senior Center in Lincoln. Her pride and joy were her
children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. |
A private family burial at Holy Cross
Cemetery in Lincoln will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church
for masses or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
