[October 29, 2024]  ELKHART - Karl Davis, 75, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Lincoln Village Healthcare.

Visitation:  Monday, November 4, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  10:30 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Elkhart Christian Church

Obituary

Karl Davis, 75, of Elkhart passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Lincoln Village Healthcare.

Karl was born December 2,1948, in Springfield, the son of John and Thelma (Johnson) Davis. He married Elizabeth Kay Theobald on May 4, 1969, in Mt. Pulaski. She survives.

Karl is also survived by his sons, Jerry and Scott Davis of Lincoln; daughter, Karyl Davis of Elkhart; and his grandchildren, Alexia Kay, Cecilia Rae, and Isaac Karl. He is also survived by his siblings, Roger (Mary Lou) Davis of Ohio, Sheryl Deckro of Morrison, IL, Sue Roush of Elkhart, and Bradley (Debra) Davis of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Danny and Tony Davis.

Karl was the owner and operator of Davis Truck Service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

Funeral Services for Karl will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Elkhart Christian Church. Visitation will take place the night prior on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial will follow the service on Tuesday at Elkhart Cemetery where full military rites will be accorded.

Memorials may be made in Karl’s name to Elkhart Christian Church.
