The Mount Pulaski Honeybears defeated Midwest
Central 30-27 on Tuesday, October 29th to win the 2024 7th Grade
Girls Logan County basketball championship hosted by West
Lincoln Broadwell.
Mount Pulaski was led in scoring by Addison Deibert and Taylah
Wakeman, who each had 12 points. Wakeman also had 12 rebounds
and 4 steals. Deibert added 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Madison Stoll added four points for the Honeybears.
Madalynn Olson and Jaydin Solomon each scored a basket in the
win.
Olson crashed the boards for 9 rebounds. She also had 7 steals
and a couple blocks.
Mount Pulaski improved to 9-7 on the season with the county
championship win.
