From Today, the pink shirt pictures for October’s
Paint the Paper Pink series are three of the lovely
people who also support the Pink Pumpkin Auction,
using their talents to help raise money for the
American Cancer Society.
Lorie Paige of Bee’s is standing behind the amazing
wreath she made for the auction and Georgia and
Harold Green of Sew Personal Embroidery are standing
in front of the beautiful quilt Georgia made.
With the pink pictures thus far, we have talked
about showing love, concern, and support for cancer
warriors, and what better way to do so than to give
of one’s talents. If you attend the auction tonight,
and we certainly hope you do, you will come to
realize that this is just a tiny example of the
talent and creativity that goes into the donations
to the silent and live auctions.
These three are clearly sending the message, not
only are they standing for a picture, they are
standing for and with you as a warrior or a
survivor. Like all of us, these folks want you to
know that you are loved, prayed for, and cared
about.
