Community invited for fun and food at 4-H Fall Festival

 

[October 06, 2024]    The local 4-H program is empowering youth and preparing them for future success, and they are inviting all local youth to join the club!

Families and community members are invited to learn more about the incredible programs offered by 4-H during their annual Fall Festival, held 4-7 p.m. Saturday, October 12 at the Logan County Fairgrounds.

Sponsored by Logan County 4-H partnering with Heartland Community College, this event promises to be an exciting evening filled with food, friends, games, and much more!

“We are inviting all current 4-H families and anyone who is interested in learning more about joining Logan County 4-H to join us on October 12,” says Sherri Bishop, 4-H program coordinator for Logan County. “We will have plenty of fun activities as well as complimentary hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be served at 5 p.m. thanks to the generosity of Nuthatch Hill BBQ and Logan County 4-H.”

This year, Heartland will be showcasing a variety of interactive activities, including a tabletop rain simulator, drone demonstrations, and an animal simulator that promises to delight attendees of all ages. Plus, Logan County 4-H clubs will have booths set up to provide information and answer any questions about 4-H programs.
