Patience Woodford chosen as the September Senior of the Month at Mt. Pulaski High School

[October 03, 2024]    Patience Woodford, daughter of Kelli Owens and Jason and Traci Woodford, has been named September-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School.

During her time at MPHS Patience has been involved in numerous organizations. For 4 years she has participated in Pep Band, Art Club, and Scholastic Bowl. She has also been a member of Track and Field for 3 years. She is also on NHS, currently serving as President, and a part of the stage crew for Drama Club. Patience has also been on Honor Roll every year.

Outside of school Patience is actively involved in the community. She has been a group leader for the Center for Creativity and Community. She has gone on mission trips with Appalachia Service Project, she is a kids worship leader, has done 3 years of volunteering with VBS and camp counseling. Patience is also a senior member of the Student Leadership Team.

Patience plans to study abroad in Spain, get a degree in Education and become a teacher.
