The pink shirt photos for today
are the local insurance agencies of DPCM and
Moriearty Insurance. DPCM is located in Mt. Pulaski
and Moriearty in Lincoln. And while they have two
separate names, they are under the same ownership.
Thus they are the same, yet different.
Breast cancer has a number of variants that make
each one slightly different from the other, yet they
are all the same in our mind. When we hear breast
cancer, we seem to stop there, but for the warrior,
it is important to know what variant you have, as
treatment options will differ from one to another.
So, again, it is important to stress that when you
visit your doctor, ask questions, find out what type
of breast cancer you have and how that is going to
impact your personal battle through treatment and
other aspects. |

At the next voting session of the
Lincoln City Council on Monday, October 21st,
aldermen will be asked to approve a motion for the
demolition of the burned-out building at 129 South
Sangamon Street.
The motion will be to approve a bid placed by Jaren
Industries at $210,000 but is subject to change at
the discretion of the council.
