Stags sweep Illini Bluffs

It’s getting to be a familiar story ~ the Hartsburg-Emden Stags keep sweeping the competition on the volleyball court.

And that’s a good thing!

Coach Jennifer Hayes has both teams playing great as they swept past Illini Bluffs last Thursday night.

The Stags Varsity won 25-10 and 25-15 and they improved their record to 23-5.

Alayna Briggs led the Stags with 12 kills.

The Stags JV won 25-11 and 25-16 and they improved their record to 12-2.

Cambelle Hopkins led the Stags JV with 9 kills.

The Stags will host Greenview tonight for Senior Night. The JV game will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the Varsity to follow. The seniors will be honored between games.
