To the editor: Chase Huston
and the [New Holland] Village President, Annie Coers have a vision
for growth in New Holland.

Bullet points:
1. There is not one week that goes by that I get a phone call, text
or email asking if there is property available for rent in New
Holland. People want to move to our community because we are not
Chicago, IL. If we build it they will come.
2. Chase Huston, the developer, has a waiting list for rental
properties. People are leaving the Chicago area and other large
cities on the west coast to leave higher crime areas, higher cost of
living and looking for their forever home in the Midwest. If we
build it they will come.
3. I've talked to two realtors about the "what if" this project
happens. Seth Goodman is very excited and said it would be an
amazing opportunity for New Holland, IL. Additionally, he has two
real estate customers that have specifically asked to find them a
house in New Holland. If you build it they will come.

4. New Holland does have the infrastructure to
support a new apartment complex. Our 2 million dollar grant from the
DCEO is giving us the ability to construct a new water tower, new
water mains and update our filtration. If we build it they will
come.
5. New Holland is a short 12 minute drive to a gas station and a 13
minute drive to Walmart.
6. New Holland is going back on the map.
