Railers wrap up regular season at QND Volleyball Bash

The Lincoln Railers volleyball team completed the regular season over the weekend at the Quincy Notre Dame Volleyball Bash Tournament, finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record.

Lincoln lost to Breese Mater Dei Friday night 21-25 and 14-25.

The Railers then defeated Macomb 25-22, 21-25 and 16-14.

On Saturday Lincoln defeated St. Teresa 25-14 and 25-17.

Lincoln then lost to Quincy Notre Dame 25-15 and 25-15.

Quincy Notre Dame went on to win the tournament.

Lincoln ended the regular season with a 20-15 record.

The Railers will begin the postseason on Tuesday night by hosting the Class 3A Regionals.

Lincoln (3) will play Springfield High School (5) at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Roy S. Anderson.
