West Lincoln-Broadwell ESD #92 celebrates

This
designation is for schools performing in the top 10% in the State of
Illinois. Find WLB’s annual Report Card at
www.illinoisreport
card.com which
will be released (currently showing 2022- 2023 data) soon.
These gains reflect the district’s investments in the creation of
new programs lead by content experts, updated curriculums, and
increased professional development in areas of ELA, Math and
Social/Emotional Learning.
“The creation of new programs has been in the works for several
years now. I am thrilled to see the additional investment is paying
off for our students,” said Superintendent Heather Baker. “The
credit goes to the staff and faculty of WLB and the parents for
supporting WLB in all aspects. Of course, I cannot forget our
students who put in the hard work each and every day.”
One component of the School Report Card is the annual
summative designation. Illinois is required by federal
accountability law to assign each school a descriptor of how well it
is meeting the needs of its students. This designation is based on
several indicators of academic performance.

In addition to its impressive
achievements in the past year, WLB is committed to continuous
school improvement. In the upcoming school year, our educators
and administrators look forward to focusing on the subject area
of math and character development.
The Illinois Report Card provides the school community with an
opportunity to reflect on last year’s strengths and discuss
areas for continuous improvement. WLB believes every single
student can meet high expectations and that parents/caregivers
and community members are a critical partner in each child’s
education.
