a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Zion Cemetery
in Lincoln.

Obituary
Sandra Kay “Sandy” Bacon, 81, of
Lincoln passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at
Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
Sandy was born July 9, 1943, in Middletown, the
daughter of Dean and Josephine (Krotz) Noon. She
married Larry Bacon on July 26, 1960, in Lincoln. He
preceded her in death in 2006.
Sandy is survived by her children, Mike Bacon, Kelly
(John) Schreiber, and Angie (Bob) Pittman; many
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister,
Loretta Sowers; sisters-in-law, JoAnne Bacon and
Karen Scales; brother-in-law, Bob Bacon; as well as
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Larry; and infant daughter, Kathy.
Sandy enjoyed bingo, reading, and playing the slot
machines at casinos.
A graveside service for Sandy will be held at 11
a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Zion Cemetery
in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in Sandy’s name to the Humane
Society of Logan County.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
