away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior
Care.

Kenneth “Speed” Anderson, 78, of
Lincoln passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024
at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care.
Speed was born June 4, 1946 in Lincoln, the son of
Orville and Julia (Shalla) Anderson. He married
Josephine “Jo” (Sahorsky) Anderson on December 3,
2004, in Lincoln. She preceded him in death on
February 17, 2024.
Speed is survived by his sons, Keith Anderson
(Rodrigo Buelvas) and Kevin Anderson (Fred Miller);
his daughter, Rachel Santana; stepchildren Vicki and
Lee Reed; seven grandchildren; five great
grandchildren; sister Joyce Board; sisters-in-law
Nancy Anderson and Doris Anderson; and
brother-in-law David Young.

He was preceded in death by his
parents; wife Jo; brothers Robert “Andy”, Walter
“Bugs”, Ronald “Ronnie”, twin brothers Larry and
Gary; brother-in-law Marvin “Marv” Board, and sister
Carol “Sue” Young.
Speed worked at PPG and the Bottle Factory and was a
veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved woodworking,
music, and was the life of the party. He spent his
final months with his children and beloved nieces
and nephews who kept him busy and laughing.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
