Lincoln Public Library offers a large variety of infant, toddler, youth and teen programs in September and October

The Lincoln Public Library District is thrilled to announce the start of the fall STREAM, Explorer Club, Story Time, and Teen Time lineup. This fun series of programs will run from September 10th thru October 25th. Registration is encouraged due to limited supplies for clubs.

STREAM (K-2nd grade) will meet every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. and Explorer Club (3rd-5th graders) will meet on Thursday’s at 3:30 p.m. Each group will include fun projects incorporating math with everyday skills.

The Lincoln Public Library is located at 725 Pekin St., with adult nonfiction and reference materials in the historic Carnegie Building. The Annex directly behind houses adult fiction and the Youth Services Department.

All library events are free and open to the public.

Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Projects include Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice Explosion, Racetrack Racing, Funny Money, Spy Training, and much more.

Story Time (12 months – 5year olds) will meet every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Story time will include an entertaining story, coordinating craft, playful movement, and interactive songs.

Our fabulous teens will meet on Friday at 3:30 p.m. for crafts and social time.

Dungeons and Dragons for 5th – 8th graders will meet on October 1 at 3:30 p.m. and 9th- 12th graders on October 3rd at 3:30PM. Registration is required.

Baby Bees (Birth – 23months) & Busy Bees (24months +) is back in conjunction with Lincoln Parent Center on the 2nd and 4th Friday at 10 a.m. This is a fun social time with baby singing, playing, and chatting with other parents.

Bluey is coming to the Lincoln Public Library. Mark your calendar for a visit with Bluey and crafts on October 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.
