This year, the first-place
prize money for the Professional Railsplitting
contest was given in honor of Darius and Emma Knauer
by their children Pam Fuiten and Jeff Knauer.
Darius was one of the founding members of the
Railsplitter organization and has been a long time
organizer, volunteer and attendee of the annual
event. For the past couple of years Darius has been
unable to attend, but he is always on the minds and
in the hearts of those who now try to fill his very
big shoes.
The first-place winner of the 2024 Professional
Railsplitting Contest was Lawrence Dubblede,
