away on Thursday, September 12th, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Obituary
Phyllis K Ball , 85, of Mt. Pulaski,
passed away on September 12th, 2024, at Springfield
Memorial Hospital.
Phyllis was born on November 1, 1938, in Grafton, to
George "Loren" and Lala (Clanin) Medford. She
married Larry Shull and he passed away in March
1988. She then married Larry Ball on April 7th,
1989.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Larry Ball. Her
children, Lori (Mike) Yeck, Carol Jane (Scott)
Holmes, Rick (Stephanie) Shull, Carrie (Pat)
Lopetrone, Rick (Kim) Ball, and Cathy (Mike)
McCubbin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren
and 31 great grandchildren.
Phyllis attended ISU and Wesleyan University
studying music. She taught music and was a teacher's
aide, bookkeeper, and was a business owner. She
enjoyed buying and selling antiques. Phyllis was
also a member of Mt. Pulaski Christian Church. |
A private family graveside service
for Phyllis will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Mt.
Pulaski Ministerial Benevolence Fund (through either
Mt. Pulaski Christian Church or Zion Lutheran Church
of Mt. Pulaski).
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
