Five years later she obtained a Master of Administration at Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee. Later in life she returned to academia to obtain her PhD in Geriatric Nutritional Assessment.

She married Sir Peter Rosner on October 28th, 1994, in Milwaukee, WI. They shared a love of adventure and world travel, including Europe, Asia, Africa, Israel, and Belize.

Katherine and Peter lived in a few places, finding their forever home in Lincoln, IL. Katherine became the Manager of Dietary Services for 10 years serving the local community at Christian Village. As a final step in her career, she joined Aperion Care INC, as a Regional Consultant Clinical Dietitian in long term care.

In addition to Katherine's love of travel, she enjoyed making crafts, needlework, puzzles, reading, and was an excellent seamstress.
