| Run-scoring singles by Karson Komnick and 
				Griffin Shaw in the bottom of the first inning accounted for the 
				Railsplitters first two runs of the game.
 In the top of the fourth inning the Spartans tied the game on 
				two RBI singles.
 
 In the bottom of the sixth inning, Owen Comstock and Ashton 
				Corley each drew walks and after two outs, Lucas hit the 
				go-ahead run in with a single to right. Drew Hayes followed with 
				an RBI single in the next at-bat and Parker Graue copied that. 
				Graue’s single to right scored Lucas with the final 
				Railsplitters run of the game.
 
 An RBI single in the top of the seventh by the Spartans did 
				little damage and Lincoln captured the 5-3 victory with Karson 
				Komnick closing the game with a strikeout for the win.
 
 Komnick picked up the win after working three innings in relief. 
				He allowed six hits and one run. He struck out three batters.
 
 Bryce Vlahovich started the game for Lincoln. He worked four 
				innings, allowing five hits and two runs. He walked three and 
				struck out seven batters.
 
 Drew Hayes and Austin Lucas each recorded two hits for Lincoln.
 
 Parker Graue, Karson Komnick and Griffin Shaw each had one hit.
 
 After a 7-0 loss and a 10-8 loss on Saturday to Eureka and an 
				8-2 loss Monday night to Monticello, it was nice for the 
				Railsplitters to get back on track with a win.
 
 Lincoln’s record improves to 3-5 on the season.
 
 Lincoln is scheduled to travel to Jacksonville today for a 4:30 
				p.m. start.
