The Glenwood Titans dominated Lincoln on
Wednesday afternoon at Mike Curry Field, winning by a final
score of 11-0.
Andrew Wahlbrink pitched the complete game shutout for the
Titans. He allowed four hits, one walk and recorded five
strikeouts.
The Titans scored two runs each in the first, third and fourth
innings. A five-run sixth inning closed the game early.
Glenwood had 14 hits off Lincoln pitching, with Dylan Huff and
Colten Knoedler each getting three hits.
Drew Hayes had two of the four team hits for Lincoln.
Parker Graue and Jadyn Gulley each had one hit.
Bryce Vlahovich started the game for Lincoln. He worked four and
two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and six runs. Only three
runs were earned. He struck out five batters and walked three.
Tate Aue pitched an inning and one-third in relief. He allowed
seven hits and five runs. He walked one and struck out one.
Lincoln falls to 3-8 on the season. |
