Obituary
Norma Lee Jackson, 94, of Chestnut,
IL., passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at her
home.
Norma was born on September 2, 1930, in Edinburg,
IL., the daughter of Robert G. and Glenna M. (Barret)
Spillman. She married Roy D. Jackson on August 13,
1950, in Mt. Pulaski, IL. He preceded her in death
on November 5, 2019.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Joni (Dave)
Bauer, and her stepsister, Doris McKinley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son,
Hal Douglas Jackson; grandson, Douglas Letterle;
sisters, Guiniveve Heil and Roberta Miller; and
stepbrother, Robert Copeland.
Norma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in
Mt. Pulaski. She enjoyed being at home, spending
time working in her yard and birdwatching. Norma
will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside Services for Norma will be

Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her
memory to Mt. Pulaski EMS. Cremation rites have been
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral, Mt.
Pulaski.
