Jaeden Jackson picked up the win for Mount
Pulaski. He had a great day, working the complete game. He
allowed five hits in seven innings. He gave up two earned runs
in the first inning before settling down to strike out nine
batters on the day. He walked one.
Carter Clark offered an RBI double in the bottom of the first
inning for Mount Pulaski. Chance Payne also doubled in the
inning and Liam Smith had a single.

Pulaski to load the bases on a hit by pitch, error and a walk.
The Hilltoppers scored two runs in the inning to take a 3-2
lead.
Mount Pulaski pushed four runs across in the bottom of the sixth
inning. The Generals pitching hit three more Hilltoppers in the
inning and that was a big help in run production. A sacrifice
fly, three wild pitches that led to runs and two singles would
be enough in the inning to give Mount Pulaski a 7-2 lead.
Jackson retired the Generals easily in the seventh inning and
the 7-2 win put the Hilltoppers winning streak at six games.
Aaron Volle had three hits for Mount Pulaski.
