Obituary
Annie McCray, 85, of Lincoln,
passed away at home surrounded by her family on
April 8, 2025.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Monday,
April 14, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with
funeral services at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Zion
Cemetery. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home is
assisting the family.
Annie was born August 10, 1939, in Indianola,
Mississippi, the daughter of Charlie Fisher and
Lovie (Ross). She worked in housekeeping at Lincoln
Developmental Center for several years and was a
foster grandparent for many years. She was an active
member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and she loved
the Lord. She collected salt and pepper shakers and
plates from different states. She enjoyed gardening
and loved her furry companions.

Survivors include her children:
Willie D. (Alexandria) Fisher, Betty McCray (James
Bruce), Willie J. McCray, Larry (Dusty) McCray,
David McCray, and Christopher McCray; 23
grandchildren, several great grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren; sister Walnetti Fisher,
and brothers Jimmy Fisher, and Eddie "Juni" Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters
Ethel Surge and Doretha Hall, brothers T.G. Fisher
and Charles Fisher, niece Ann Surge, nephews Lewis
Surge Jr., Raymond Surge, and Charles Fisher Jr.,
and sister-in-law Robbie Fisher.
