LMH Flag-Raising Ceremony

DETAILS: Calling attention to the importance of organ and tissue donation. The event will be held at the flagpole located near the hospital’s main entrance. According to Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network, which serves Illinois and northwest Indiana, nearly 5,000 Illinoisans are currently waiting for an organ transplant. The ceremony will feature remarks by officials from Memorial Health, Saving Sight and Gift of Hope. Staff will be available in the hospital lobby to register new donors.

The first 10 people who spend $50+ will receive a free Ink & Imprint tote. In addition, for every $10 spent, customers will be given a raffle ticket to enter to win one of the store’s raffle items. Indie Bookstore Day is also the first day customers will be able to get Ink & Imprint t-shirts. Plus one lucky customer who finds the LIbro Golden Ticket hidden in the store will receive 12 free audiobooks. Kids can also decorate a bookmark for a chance to win the bookmark design contest. Periodically throughout the day, local authors will be stopping by the bookstore to meet customers and sign their books.
