Indie Bookstore Day

DETAILS: Refreshments, sales, giveaways, and raffles throughout
the day. Customers will receive a free Ink & Imprint sticker with every
$10+ purchase. The first 10 people who spend $50+ will receive a free
Ink & Imprint tote. In addition, for every $10 spent, customers will be
given a raffle ticket to enter to win one of the store’s raffle items.
Indie Bookstore Day is also the first day customers will be able to get
Ink & Imprint t-shirts. Plus one lucky customer who finds the LIbro
Golden Ticket hidden in the store will receive 12 free audiobooks. Kids
can also decorate a bookmark for a chance to win the bookmark design
contest. Periodically throughout the day, local authors will be stopping
by the bookstore to meet customers and sign their books. Authors Kathy
Swaar (11:30 a.m.), Alivia Byers (11:30 a.m.), Sara Whitney (1 p.m.), A.
Harper (1:30 p.m.), and Dave Bishop (1:30 p.m.) are all scheduled to
attend.

LCHS Senior Class of 2025 Parade

DETAILS: All graduating seniors are invited to participate. The
parade will start and end at Lincoln Community High School. The parade
route is as follows: Start at LCHS Parking Lot, North on Tulip Drive,
West on Pulaski Street, North on Gillett Street, West on Broadway
Street, South on Kickapoo Street, East on Wyatt Avenue, Conclude at LCHS
Parking Lot. Lincoln Community High School wishes to thank the City of
Lincoln, Lincoln Police Department, and Lincoln Fire Department for
their assistance with this event.

as he shares his insight regarding the story of Abraham Lincoln and
Ann Rutledge. Mr. Fraker’s presentation is admission-free and open
to the public, courtesy of Mr. Fraker and the DeWitt County Museum
Association. No reservations are necessary. Additional parking is
