Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services announces new name: Capstone
Counseling
[August 19, 2025] LINCOLN,
IL — Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services is pleased to announce that it
will now be doing business as Capstone Counseling. While the name has
changed, the commitment to providing compassionate, professional mental
health services remains exactly the same.
Capstone Counseling will continue to serve the community at the same
location with the same trusted team of therapists, offering counseling
for individuals, couples, and families. This rebranding reflects the
agency’s ongoing mission to be a place of healing, growth, and hope for
those seeking support in their mental health journey.
“We chose the name
Capstone Counseling because a capstone is a strong,
foundational element that completes and secures a
structure. This also ties into the agency's Christian
roots where Jesus is often referred to as the capstone
of faith,” said Kim King, Director of Capstone
Counseling. “We believe this reflects the role we hope
to play in the lives of our clients—providing strength,
stability, and support as they build healthier, more
fulfilling lives.”
