Obituary
Roger Smith Sr., 70, of Lincoln, IL,
passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Roger was born March 13, 1955, in Lincoln, IL, the
son of Carl and Donna Sullivan.
Roger is survived by his children, Roger Smith Jr.,
Ronnie (Molly) Smith, Rhonda (Jerry) Hurley -Smith,
and Donna Smith; grandchildren, Brandon (Madyson)
Smith, Salem (Cole) Smith, Drake McMichael, Gabriel
McMichael, Jemma Smith, Logan Smith, and Ryleigh
Smith; great-grandchildren, Jersey and Rhys Hundt;
step-grandchildren, Benton and Annaleecia Hurley;
and his siblings, Rocky (Evelyn) Sullivan, Susie
Tripplett, and Donnie Sullivan. |
He was preceded in death by his
parents and siblings, Calvin, David, Charlie
“Mitch”, Brenda, and Eddie Sullivan, and Charlotte
Parcelle.
A visitation for Roger will be held on Tuesday,
August 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to Roger’s family in ℅ Roger
Smith Jr. to assist with funeral expenses.
