On a pleasant Thursday August 21st,
Lincoln village healthcare center hosted a Balloons over 66 weekend
kickoff party with fun activities for the whole family.
Musical entertainment was provided by Gary Osborne, who played a mix
of outlaw country and classic rock hits.

Games included a tic/tac/toe bean
bag toss, connect four, Jenga, and a duck pond game. Several played
the giant Velcro dart set and tried to hit a bullseye.

In the late summer weather, many
kids enjoyed cooling off as they went down inflatable waterslide.
Snow cones in a variety of flavors provided another way to cool off.

The talented face painter decorated
many of the kids’ faces to look like animals or superheroes.
At one end of the building, kitchen staff served pulled pork
sandwiches, beans, Cole slaw and watermelon.
The Balloons over 66 Kickoff party was a great way to start the
weekend’s activities.
