First Presbyterian Church of Lincoln
is proud to present a special showing of “Weapons of
the Spirit” at the Grande Theater in Lincoln on
September 17 at 6pm.
This moving film by holocaust survivor and
internationally recognized documentarian, Pierre
Sauvage, chronicles the “conspiracy of goodness” of
a small mountain town in Nazi-occupied France during
WWII that saved the lives of some 5,000 Jews,
including the filmmaker and his parents. This
provocative exploration into the meaning of “loving
your neighbor” is simultaneously uplifting and
challenging. Admission to the film is free and
concessions will be available for purchase.
