CAPCIL Transit announces updated transportation hours starting January 2nd

[December 06, 2025]  Logan and Mason Counties – CAPCIL Transit is announcing updated transportation hours beginning January 2, 2026. These changes are necessary due to funding adjustments, and our team remains committed to providing reliable transportation services to our senior community members.

The new CAPCIL Transit hours will be:
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday: 6:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

During these hours, CAPCIL Transit will provide transportation for medical appointments and/or treatments only. Out-of-town rides for medical appointments will continue to be available at a flat rate, payable prior to pick-up.

To schedule a ride, please call 217-732-1056. Riders are encouraged to call 24-48 hours in advance to ensure the best availability.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and support as we continue to provide this vital service.”
