Lady Railers escape Southeast with
a 52-51 win

The Lady Railers snuck out of Springfield Friday night with a
52-51 conference win over the Southeast Spartans. In a game that saw
Lincoln score half of their points at the free throw line, the Lady
Railers were clinging to a slim lead all night long.
At the end of the first quarter, Lincoln was on top 9-8.
At the half Lincoln led 24-23.
The gap was a bit bigger with Lincoln holding a 39-35 lead after the
third quarter.
Thanks to Mia Clark’s three-pointer and 6-for-6 performance from the
free throw line in the fourth quarter, Lincoln was able to move on
with a 52-51 win.
Clark led Lincoln with 17 points.
Grace Bivin hit double-figures again with 12 points.

Lincoln improved to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the Central State Eight
Conference.
The Lincoln JV team blew out the Spartans 50-24.
Elizabeth Chen and Grace Bivin each led the JV team with 11 points.
Ella Schneider tossed in 10 points.
Lincoln will host Metamora on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 for a
non-conference matchup.
The JV game will start at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity will tip-off at
7:00 p.m.
