Hartem Trivia Night benefits 2025 Post-prom activities

Saturday, February 1, the annual Hartem High School post prom trivia night fundraiser was held at the Emden Community House.

This event began around 11 years ago and raises money to provide the students with a safe post prom alternative.

The main event was the trivia game of ten trivia categories with ten questions each relating to topics like popular music, United States facts, sports and historical events.

Other activities included a silent auction, gun raffle and 50-50 drawing. After every few categories, there was a break for minute to win it games like rock, paper, scissors and heads or tails while scores for those rounds were tabulated.

As usual, the competition between the 14 teams was intense, but the rivalry was friendly as people competed against close friends and even family members for the top prize of $100.

Stay Thirsty My Friends was the team who dominated the evening and won a “triple crown” of sorts as they have been the winners three years running.

Besides providing students with a safe after-prom event, the funds raised will allow students a chance to win some very nice door prizes.
