Griffen Cross paced the team to victory,
leading all scorers with 16 points.
Kruz Froebe added 14 points, all in the first half. He was hot
from beyond the arc with four 3s.
The Wolverines led 16-7 in the first quarter. Froebe poured in
eight points and Grant Hayes added four points. Colby Bowman and
Cross each added a bucket.
WLB grew the lead to 35-14 by halftime. Cross threw in seven
points and Froebe was good for a couple more 3s to lead the
team.
The Wolverines really quieted the Knights in the third quarter.
Normal Epiphany scored just one basket while the Wolverines
scored 18 points. The Wolverines were burying the Knights 53-16.
Ryder Conrady and Dyson Dalpoas each scored a bucket with the
clock running in the fourth quarter as the final score was
settled. WLB runs away with the game 57-17.
WLB (23-3) will host Morton Blessed Sacrament (13-7) for the
sectional championship on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
