[February 04, 2025]  Dear Editor and Ward 3 Residents,

I'm writing in regards to the upcoming Alderman race for Ward 3. As the constituents may know, there are two Republican's running for Alderman for Ward 3. This election will set the tone for the next 4 years for Ward 3’s representation.

I'm writing to support Alderwoman Rohlfs. Mrs. Rohlfs has been a pillar in Logan County for decades and as many know, she is very informed and is well versed on the issues facing the City of Lincoln. In the times that I've contacted her regarding various issues, Mrs. Rohlfs has always answered the phone, listened, and addressed my concerns while providing context to the matter. I know that she does extensive research regarding various issues prior to rendering a vote on the matter and will continue to do her research if she should be re-elected to the position.

Prior to being on the council, Mrs. Rohlfs was often in attendance at City Council meetings and wasn't afraid to challenge the council and provoke critical thinking on behalf of the Mayor and the Council. As a taxpayer, I can appreciate someone that has so much passion and drive for the City of Lincoln that she attended a vast majority of the City Council meetings and was considered a “watch dog” of sorts for Lincoln taxpayers. I believe that she still does that to this day.

I'm asking that when you head to the ballot box, that you will remember the time, the research, the drive to make Lincoln the best city it can be, and will cast your vote for Wanda Lee Rohlfs. I believe thot she has earned her position as a City Council Alderwoman.
Respectfully, Jackie Campbell
