I have been a constituent of Ward 4 for 28 years. I
live there with my husband Bo, and we have raised 2 boys, Michael
and Austin. It is important to me to be involved in the future of
Lincoln with my boys returning back here to start their lives.
Currently I am working with Mr Sanders to put together a Strategic
plan for the City of Lincoln. With the Strategic plan we are working
on making Lincoln proactive with all future projects. Our vision is
that we will have a 1 year, 5 year, and a 10 year plan of
infrastructure projects, equipment, and staffing for all departments
in the city. We are working towards being fiscally sound as a city
while preparing for future projects .
Fiscal security for the City is something as an alderman I feel
passionate about. It is important LDto be able to balance staying
within our budget while also helping to grow our community. It is
important that we are supporting our downtown local businesses as
well as making Lincoln a community that is friendly to new
businesses.
I was tasked by Mayor Welch to allocate the new taxes
from Cannabis sales, It was important to me to be able to give back
to our community and educate the young people as well. I worked with
Officer Fruge and we were able to allocate money from these taxes to
our local D.A.R.E program. We also have started the long road of
funding police and fire pensions that have been underfunded. It is
important to me as alderman that we are able to support the men and
women of the police and fire departments in their retirements.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the
continuous support I have received. Together, we have the power to
shape the future of Lincoln. Our community is built on the values of
unity, progress, and resilience. I am committed to working
tirelessly to address your concerns, improve our neighborhoods, and
ensure that every voice is heard. With your continued support, we
can create a brighter, more prosperous future for all.
Thank you, and let's move forward together with hope and
determination.
