In the second quarter Marten and Murphy
continued to pace the Lady Toppers, each hitting 3s this go
round. Addison Brown also added four points as Mount Pulaski
took a 29-9 lead into halftime.
Mount Pulaski’s points in the third quarter all came by way of
the three ball. Brown, Murphy and Marten were the trio who
scored from beyond the arc and Mount Pulaski was quickly
dominating the game 41-17.
Audrey Cooper tossed all of her points in during the fourth
quarter. Cooper’s five points plus a bucket from Marten put
Mount Pulaski in position to win 48-32.
Elayna Marten was the leading scorer for Mount Pulaski with 19
points.
Alyson Murphy added 13 points as the Lady Toppers improved to
17-7 on the season.
The Raiders won the JV game 45-30.
Mount Pulaski will host Clinton tonight. The JV will tip-off at
6:00 p.m. The Varsity will start at 7:30 p.m.
This is sure to be a great game. Clinton is 23-5 on the season
and currently riding a 12-game winning streak.
